Welcome to the home page for the Data Center Virtual Reality (VR) workshop being taught at LISA 16. We welcome all the guest who are interested in the work that we are doing in developing VR in the data center.

This workshop is a half day workshop covering the use of GPU technologies in the data center. The key themes that are part of the workshop include visualizing cloud environments with virtual reality (VR), enhancing physical data centers with augmented reality (AR), and improving data center performance with deep learning.

The goal of the workshop is for attendees to take back perspectives and new ideas on how they can use Virtual Reality in the data center. Team members will also take back results from our exploration of virtual reality in the datacenter. The workshop team should also plan to use the results and output from this session to expand upon the work done to share with the community by means of white papers; presentations at conferences; and articles for publication in ;login:. Depending on how far the team gets during the session, development of a possible construct to repeatedly apply VR concepts to the data center.

We hope you can join us. Seating for this workshop is limited.
